2020-2021 - Challenges and COVID

March of 2020 - The Cedar Boat Club goes dormant, leaving a Facebook livestream talking about current situations. All events had to be cancelled.

July 3rd, 2020 - No fireworks put on display by the Cedar Boat Club for the first time in years

2021 - No events and no fireworks

2022 - Resurgence & a New Era

February 2022 - The first meeting in a very long time is held. There is no board, and some are questioning the continuation of the club

March 2022 - A board has been made tentative and some events were scheduled. July 3rd fireworks were officially postponed to 2023 due to money and internal. The boat club was officially returning

April 2022 - Brian Halstead named commodore of the club for 2022. Jeffrey Kaas became new webmaster, launched a brand new website built from the ground up

Rest of 2022 - Drag Boat Races officially return

2023 - 75th Anniversary

January 2023 - Brent Fountain named Commodore. Jeffrey Kaas, one of this year’s new board directors, plans for a reunion of former Commodores of the Cedar Boat Club.
